Telemac Player ("we", "us", or "our") provides a media player application for Amazon Fire TV devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and your choices.

1. App purpose

Telemac Player is a player application only. It does not provide, host, or sell channels or media content. Users must provide their own legal content sources (for example, provider credentials or playlist URLs).

2. Information we process

Information you provide in the app

Depending on the features you use, the app may process information you enter, such as:

  • Playlist/server details (for example server URL, username, and password)
  • M3U playlist URLs
  • Optional support message details you choose to send

Device/app data processed for operation

The app may process limited technical data needed to run correctly, such as:

  • App version and build information
  • Basic playback and app settings
  • Device-generated identifiers needed for local app functions

Reminder and notification data

If you use reminder features, the app stores reminder items locally on your device and may use notification permission to show reminder alerts.

3. Where data is stored

  • Most app data is stored locally on your Fire TV device.
  • Playlist and settings data are used by the app to load and display content from your selected provider.
  • If you choose features that communicate externally (for example loading a playlist URL or contacting your provider), related requests are sent to the destination you selected.

4. Permissions and why they are used

Telemac Player may request permissions including:

  • Internet / network access: to load playlists, metadata, and media streams from your chosen sources
  • Storage access: to support local app files and backup/restore features (where available)
  • Notifications: to show optional reminders

Permissions are used only for app functionality.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data.

Data may be transmitted only as needed to:

  • Your chosen IPTV/content provider endpoints
  • Infrastructure/services required for app operation that you explicitly use

6. Data retention

  • Local app data remains on your device until you remove it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
  • If you contact support by email or external messaging, that communication is handled by the relevant service provider under their own policies.

7. Children

Telemac Player is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect data processed by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. Your choices

You can:

  • Remove playlists and app data in the app or device settings
  • Revoke app permissions in Fire TV settings
  • Uninstall the app at any time

10. International users

If you use the app outside your country of residence, your data may be processed where your chosen provider or services operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at the policy URL you provide in the Amazon Appstore listing.
